𝗪𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 一品锅’𝘀 mission is to serve up authentic and premium zichars dishes all while keeping the price point affordable. We were treated to a feast of their signature dishes and were especially impressed by their 🥓 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗱 ($𝟭𝟴). On first look, it seemed rather dry but it was actually soft, flavourful and the fermented red beancurd flavours really shined through. Their 🥘 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 ($𝟯𝟮) was served in a claypot filled to the brim with half a fish head and a generous amount of fried beancurd puffs, eggplants, lady’s fingers and long beans. The curry gravy was so flavourful and not too spicy, you would definitely want to drench a bowl of rice with it. Good things come in pairs and we also liked their 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 ($𝟮𝟲) 🍤, which had chonky prawns coated with salted egg sauce and wasabi sauce. The sauces were rich and delicious and the batter wasn’t soggy despite the sauce which we liked! Wok master’s 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 ($𝟮𝟲) 🥬 played on the textures of deep fried kailan leaves and stir fried kailan stems and was a crowd favourite. Other dishes we tried that day: 🥦 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗶 👨🏻‍🍳 𝗪𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗱 🍗 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 🍖 𝗪𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝘀 🥭 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗼 🍮 𝗪𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 Follow us on IG @toofoodtomiss for more foodie content!

The prawn roll is the closest to handmade. Those previous I had before were like fish cake. This wok master prawn roll also contain some water chestnut making it crunchy. The spinach veg has too much sauce, the curry fish head, is a big small. In short, for both the spinach and fish head, you can get better one elsewhere. Service is fine, the dishes came pretty fast. Atmosphere, just like any normal air conditioning restaurant.

This is my second visit with my church choir friends on a Sunday afternoon. It is a nice place for fellowship and we generally enjoy the food here. They offer a membership package which we took during our first visit. So we used the $30 voucher given this time round. One of the appetiser that we would recommend is the Golden Salted Egg Pumpkin. However, do note that it is rather oily as it is a deep fried dish. You can really taste the passion fruit in the Crispy Passion Fruit Prawn, and the watermelon adds a refreshing note to this creamy dish. Besides the stir fry dishes, they also serve a selection of dim sum on their side menu. We particularly love the black sesame bun (黑芝麻包) because we find it is an interesting variation to the salted egg bun 流沙包 which is rather common. I would also recommend the Tofu with Minced Meat which we had during our first visit as I remember it was good. Lastly, they serve delicious belacan chilli! 😋

I really doubt the authenticity of the reviews here, because the food really is mediocre, or I just ordered the wrong dishes. We got the Mongolian chicken - 3/5 (chicken is overcooked but overall still flavourful) 3 egg spinach (bland and the spinach has way too much fibres, v hard to eat) salted egg yolk pumpkin (worst dish, too much flour coating, too little egg yolk, tasteless and super oily) After burpple voucher, only 35 in total, which considerably cheap in a restaurant but will not go back again because of the quality of the food.

Started off with the Handmade Prawn Roll ($12) and Pork Belly with Red Bean curd ($8 for small) - both were crispy and delicious. I especially couldn't get enough of the prawn roll, really recommend it 👍🏻 For greens we had the Claypot Tofu ($12 for small) and the French Beans ($10 for small). Loved the tofu especially, soft and flavourful and we couldn't get enough of the gravy! French Beans were great as well! Added on a Fried Egg with Minced Meat ($8 for small) cos we wanted to try more and it delivered too! Soft and juicy and oh so flavourful. All the dishes we had impressed and I can't believe I haven't heard more people talking about this restaurant. Ended off the meal with a complimentary Triple Dessert (from a current promotion, u.p. $6.80) and we left with our tummies full and happy. Will be back for sure!
