[Oct 2023] This Vietnamese restaurant is a rare gem hidden in the basement of Marina One. We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes - lightly seasoned, letting the fresh ingredients bring out its natural flavours. Nice spacious environment, friendly and efficient service. Will be back! 👍

Drip coffee is very strong and aromatic, good over ice. Beef pho broth was refreshing and beef portion is generous. Beef and meats in general (chicken and pork chop) can be more tender but not a major issue. Food all served very fast and service was excellent, the waiter who took our order was very patient with us :)

Why YenneY is a 'Must Try' for lunch.... A few days ago I reviewed YenneY at Bugis and was very impressed, so I thought I would check out the original and see if this held the same standard. I decided to try the Beef Roll and the Vermicelli with Grilled BBQ Pork. For drink, I went with the avocado smoothie - the twist of the coconut flakes on top sets this alight. The food arrived very quickly. The Beef Rolls, were packed with beef and veg. Usually, I expect a fair bit of 'padding' but not so. Just look how much beef was stuffed into those rolls, lean without gristle. The BBQ pork was flavoursome, a good portion as well. For the veg, it was fresh, crunchy and plentiful. Who I assume was the restaurant manager was attentive, and helpful and I noticed how he was always keeping an eye out for customers needing attention. Overall, a great experience where after an hour, I’m not all thirsty or uncomfortable from salt/MSG or other artificial flavour enhancements. If you look at the dimensions of dinning, Quality & Quantity, Service, Price and for lunch, speed (who wants to spend their lunchtime in a queue), this is why YenneY is a ‘Must Try’...

The service was very attentive in a non intrusive manner. The atmosphere was decent but nothing special. The food was well priced with a lot of meat and large size. Highly recommend the chicken pho.
