A very good experience overall from ticketing to rides. All staff were very welcoming and friendly with a smile on their face. The rides i must say are worth every penny. Highly recommended to visit 🤝🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦

We visited the newly opened Meryl waterpark on Christmas Eve and had the best day. The park is state of the art and has some truly unique and impressive slides and features. The theme works really well throughout and I loved the layout of the park with the central lagoon and beach access. The wave pool and splash areas were heated so it was pleasant on a 26 degree day (but we are used to U.K. temps 😂). The staff were top notch. So friendly and well trained. The shows were a nice surprise and really impressive. Food prices were what you’d expect but the standard was good. Overall, we were really pleasantly surprised. We had the place nearly to ourselves but I’m sure when the temps start to rise it will finally get the crowds it deserves.

I had so much fun here, highly recommend! Tips: - Buy tickets a day in advance online as it’s a bit cheaper than at the door - for some of the rides, you must have at least 2 or even 3 people to go down. There is also a combined weight limit, I recommend going in as big a group as you can and preferably have different size people with you so you can balance the weights perfectly and try all the rides - get there as soon as they open, I arrived at 12:30 and stayed till closing and still didn’t have enough time to try all the rides. Time goes by really fast here and it’s super fun - Glass bottles (perfume) are not allowed inside but the information desk will hold them till you leave. Better to just leave in the car - Outside water or food is not allowed - bring slippers, some parts are slippery if walking barefoot All in all, it’s worth visiting especially now during the soft opening as it’s not too busy. I can imagine once it opens officially how busy it will be

It's the best waterpark I have ever been to, I felt as a president owning the place there, all the stuff is super friendly, for now there is more stuff than guests so no way to wait in que for any of the rides. Super fun and worth to come. But be careful on the fastest slides, I have twisted my ankle while falling from one of them so can't walk for some days now and will have to visit hospital, also it's slippery everywhere so flip flops or water shoes recommended. glass bottles (perfumes etc) and any drinks not allowed 3 minus points: 1. showers in changing rooms are wrongly made so there is a flood all around the room immediately.. with no place to hang stuffs it's not fun to find your bags all in water 2. I felt totally bad for the workers standing in freezing water and shaking for many hours under the slides, especially with no people using slides (there were max 20 people in all park!). People can carry pontoons by their own and go out of pool, I understand policy of the waterpark to have customer service on top level but it's enough life guards will be outside of pool watching and helping only when necessary. Or at least give them some warm water clothes for winter months. Also 50 Qar extra for a shelf is a Rip Off, first time In any park it's not included (and I got information on email that it's included in the full day ticket price).. so had not nice surprise in the park upon arrival
