Nice place, but opening hours displayed on google seems to be not valid. We were lucky, that we found opened entrance door. But nobody was there, object is probably still in reconstruction.

Qasr Ibrahim (Ibrahim Palace) is a historical castle and fort that is located in the north of Alqoat neighborhood, Hofuf, Al-Ahsa, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Besides, it is called the dome Palace, AlQoat Palace or Ibrahim Castle. Ibrahim palace is the main architectural heritage from the Ottoman period of Al-Hofuf[1] that was a Turkish military barracks.[2] After that, the palace was taken and seized by King Abdul-Aziz Al Saud on April 13, 1913 (5th of First Jumada 1331 AH).

A must to visit in Al-Ahsa tour, even if you miss the chance to enter it, still the scenery from outside is worth the visit. The Ibrahim palace in Al-Hofuf has stood the test of time and efforts are continuous to maintain the structure.

This historical palace is an architectural masterpiece that was a Turkish military barracks in eastern Saudi Arabia and the main headquarters of the Ottoman garrison in Al-Ahsa.

King Abdulaziz al-Saud (mercy on him) entered the castle to announce the annexation of Alhassa in 1331 Hijri. The center of the palace, which was built in 963 Hijri, is the Al-Qubba mosque. The facilities, the Ottoman prison, the weapons storehouse and the Turkish baths were built around it.

The Ibrahim Palace covers an area of 16,500 square meters. It combines both Islamic and military architecture as its huge building and its upper balconies give the effect of typical castles.

Historical palace and mosque. The building was not fully open when visited. The mosque is beautiful and very clean. Big potential as attraction for the city.

It's closed. Not ready for tourist? It was built on 10th century. And Hasa is very historic city .It is worth to visit. I hope soon open for public. I visited 12 January 2022 around 11 am . It was 2 nd visit 2-3 years it was closed by renovating that time too. I hope more accurate sign for open hours. And more information ! I wish Hasa tourism care more for tourist. Preparing Guide and catalogs are important too! I have been travelled over 47countries but I feel saudi is not fully ready for that yet. As a person who live in Saudi I am so sad That fact. People should be proud of their heritage and have more easy approach for their history and pride!
