Not having been to a Sri Lankan restaurant before, I was looking forward to it. We had the crab curry which was great. We tried a mutton, chicken, fish and bitter gourd dishes with string-hoppers. Apart from the mutton curry that was very dry and overcooked, the others were tasty. However, all the dishes were spicy, spicier than the usual Indian curries that you get in restaurants. After a while, the spices were a bit overwhelming, although the group as a whole were quite used to Indian food. We finished with the sweet apam-very nice and worth trying. Read more
