I recently visited a restaurant with my 8-month-old baby and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Firstly, the restaurant was not accessible as I had to climb stairs with a pram which made it quite inconvenient. Secondly, the high chair provided was not safe at all. The buckle kept coming off and the back support was hard and dangerous for my baby. Due to this issue, I had to take away the food and eat it elsewhere. To make matters worse, while chewing the food, I discovered a small metal shard in it which was quite alarming and dangerous. It is concerning that the restaurant did not take proper measures to ensure that the food was free from any such foreign objects. To add to my disappointment, even the food was quite bland for an Indian cuisine. The flavors were not as authentic as I had hoped and it was an overall underwhelming experience. In conclusion, it is evident that the restaurant had no regard for health and safety, as evidenced by the inaccessible entrance, unsafe high chair, and presence of foreign objects in the food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if they have young children with them.

We went with my toddler daughter for an early evening meal and glad we chose here. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing and did a wonderful job at making our young daughter feel welcome. The food was delicious, well flavoured and good portion sizes. The meal was reasonably priced and we didn't feel rushed at all. We really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend.

Our waiter for the night was Enam who was super polite and took the time to explain everything that we were unsure about ....took time to cater especially to my food intolerances and made my birthday experience well enjoyable. The food was full of flavour and you can tell that it was made with love. Atmosphere was relaxing and intimate enough for my husband and I for dinner with authentic Indian beats in the background. We came all the way down from london and this place was recommended and it didn't disappoint .the only downside was the stairs to climb but needed after the amount of food we ate lol .Absolutely 200% pleased and was the best Indian cuisine experience we have ever had . Will 100% be back if ever again in birmingham . Mr& Mrs Roberts

While visiting Birmingham from Canada in late May, we dined at this Indian restaurant on Broad St. near Brindley Place. The intial service was very friendly and accomodating. We sat by a window with a view of the canal. We ordered Chicken Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, 2 rice, 1 naan and bottled water. All dishes were tasty and delivered in a reasonable time. After finishing, we waited for our bill and had to go to the bar area and ask for it. After receiving it, we waited a lengthy period to pay and no one came by to collect it. We ended up leaving payment on the table and leaving. One would think that receiving payment with a thank you would be a priority.
