Came on a Sun at 12pm for their high tea degustation set. This set has to be ordered and paid for online in advance. Although the dining time was supposed to be only 90min, was so thankful that the place wasn’t too crowded and we ended up catching up for 4h. Ambience is pretty good for catching up and service is great too (they constantly topped up our water for us)! Savouries were very impressive, in ranked order (fave to least fave): Mini Savoury scones (so crispy and moist, not dry!), Egg Mayo Choux (truffle taste was great), Mini Chicken Bacon Pie, Parmesan Onion Crostini (texture was great and onion added sweetness), Quiche (Spinach & bacon) then Mushroom Vol Au Vent. Their eclairs texture isn’t your usual soft kind, but it held the filling well. Again from fave to least fave: Houjicha, Dark Chocolate, Lemon, Salted Caramel, Ispahan and Lychee Oolong. Somehow the Floral/ fruity flavours (Ispahan and Lychee Oolong) has some artificial taste to it. Although they’re famous for eclairs, I think from the 6 flavours I had, the only one I would come back for is Houjicha. Also, their savouries are super nice!!

2nd visit to this lovely cafe situated at Singapore Shopping Centre, next to UBS building (previously known as Park Mall). Location is an arm's stretch from the buzz in Orchard Road, a retreat from the crowd. Comfy seating with tables arranged not too tight, giving some personal space between. Loved the seasonal spread of éclairs as well as the classic ones. We had the vanilla with pecans, lychee oolong and gula melaka éclairs and each cream topping creates a different taste experience. They were light yet presenting our palate with distinctive taste of the flavours. An excellent cafe to rest feet and have small chat with friends or family. Cafe is not huge and suited for party of 6 max.

Order lemon éclairs with tea. Totalabout 14.50 sgd. Not cheap. Tea came in a pot cost about 5 dollars. Dessert not bad, hold the filling well. think they are popular for high tea set and hot meals too but I didn't try. Ok la,can hang out with friends once in a while as the price is on higher side.

Honestly, I don’t get the popularity of these eclairs. I guess it’s because of how pretty they look. I got an assortment of flavours delivered to me, and I can’t say that I will recommend this to anyone. The choux pastry felt like it was on the heavier side. The fillings of some flavours tasted very true but generally I didn’t enjoy these eclairs as much as I had wanted to. For the price, the packaging was also quite cheap & flimsy.

check out @nomninjas on instagram, burpple, lemon8 ✨ credits when photos used💗 … tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔 … Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋 … overrall, always enjoy my impromptu afternoon tea breaks at their dhoby ghaut store especially as it’s quiet away from the crowds but still very convenient 👍
