We paid a visit here as it was my birthday. The staff are friendly and helpful. We walked round the grounds which cost £7 each. It was Sunday 22nd October and everywhere was mopping up after the floods but walking the grounds was no problem. We obviously walked across the rivers edge which was moving quickly and was very high. We recommend you visit the Orangery in the grounds for afternoon tea or just a drink and cake it's a lovely place where you can look through the windows that over look the beautiful scenery outside.

Fantastic walks and gardens. Orangery serves drinks, sandwiches and cakea, along with a nice afternoon tea. Use Groupon for afternoon tea bookings. We did not have time for the tour of the house. No tour, no entry to the house.

Lovely place. Guided tours of the house only but very informative and well done. Dont miss the gatehouse as you walk- through after paying. Nice cafe in the conservatory. Not a lot of the original abbey left to see but the house is interesting.

Had afternoon tea there. Good selection of sandwiches, lovely scone with jam and cream, followed by a slice of cake and a glass of Prosecco. Only down side was the choice of tea, hubby was a little disappointed with the options, but overall a lovely experience. It is in very nice surroundings, right by the River Avon.

We really enjoyed our time at the Stoneleigh Abbey , it was really quiet , and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Dont be discouraged by their website saying its fully booked for afternoon tea. We thought it would be heaving on a Sunday, but we go to a table with no problem. The walk in the forest nearby is also lovely.
